Room with a View

It was a nice day today, and I manged to get the window open to enjoy some fresh air. Capital view no? There's a parking lot just beyond the trees for the neighboring apartments.

Yah! *warm fuzzy feeling returned to sender*
Doing all right - still in the ol'home town; biking, sewing, gaming (little) and reading (lots) while figuring out the ropes of homeownership. Cats (3) are furry, Q still around; work had it's ups & downs, but it can't be all bad if the boss will let you bike in occasionally during the summer months. Haven't had a chance to read back yet - what's the short story?

The short story? *deep breath* Moved from NJ to GA. Everyone much happier. Sold house. Close at end of month. Lost everything we had in it. So no money for college. Really are starting over (again). School is good. Homework is killing me. Found some local friends... who've only ever played D&D. Exposing them to the bigger RPG world. Started with Call of Cthulhu. Why not scar them from the beginning? ;) Waiting on cellphones! Grrr! So I can do all the stuff that requires a phone number like: get a mover, buy a laptop, sign promissory notes for student loans. [Some more stuff here.] *gasps* Life goes on. :)

Ugh! Umm, let me know if I can provide moral (morale?) support; went through recent upgrade of cell phone due to physics (cell + velocity/bike path = new phone ...) decided against iPhone due to newness (as much as price).
Hope GA is more hospitable to family and dreams ...
You have my e-mail, I can give you land line from there, if you want to rant in person ... *grin*
FYI - RM (the elf-fag, but don't tell him I said that) is in PhD program at UMi, so he can relate big-time. Wishing both youse guys the best.
Glad to hear that life goes on (miss you guys *sniff*)
