I'm Not Ignoring You
All chat ports on the servers here at work (a secret volcanic lair of a world dominating organization no less!) have been shut down for the past week. Yahoo! Messenger was the final holdout; falling to the IT ninjas last Wednesday if I recall. So I've been effectively rendered incommunicado to the waking world. :(
I'm sure they would say this was for our protection (against a deadly virus or an intruder or something), and one can't help wonder if 007 or xXx hasn't in fact infiltrated the premises. There's an office pool going for exactly when the master plan will be foiled and our lovely base destroyed. Personally, I'm putting in for vacation.
Ok, so let's review: chat down, not ignoring you all, secret volcanic lair = bad place to be when secret agents with a pension for buggery… er, I mean… sabotage… are on the premises.
Buggery?! Who said anything about buggery? Not I! Who said that?! Oh, I did not and you know it! *gives the evil eye* What? The voices in my head you say?
