Happy Half-Birthday, Baby!
Today is my love's half-birthday. Happy half-birthday, baby. Now you can tell everyone you're [edit] and a half years old! :)
I know, half-birthdays are generally reserved for 6 month olds and other young snotlings for whom a half year is a significant measure of their lives, but what the hell, it's fun to have an excuse to celebrate something. Even if we have no real plans to go out (or money to spend when we get there). What else ya gonna to do today, celebrate Tax Day?
That's right, it's also Tax Day here in Los Estados Unidos de América: that not-remotely-special day when Uncle Sugar shakes us down for another year's allowance. But enough dwelling on the down side of today. Let's look at the positives of Tax Day… Firstly, many post offices will for this one day keep reasonable hours enabling us common folk to mail parcels when it's convenient for us! Secondly… there's… um… well that's about it for Tax Day. Hey, did I mention it's my baby's half-birthday!
Happy half-birthday, love! Your new bitch boots, as promised, are on the way. Just the thing to wear should we ever get audited. ;)
