Stalling for Time
Ok, ok, so I've been a little remiss. Or rather, I *feel* I've been a little remiss. Can't let this thing fizzle so soon after launch. So, what to say? What can I say? [CUE: Wayne's World retrospective transition: didila-didla-didila!]
[Last Thursday AM] I made it back from my trip to Salt Lake City just fine. The flight was delayed almost two hours because of foul weather. To hear tell at the departure gate, the second Ice Age was upon us and it was starting in Newark, New Jersey. Upon arrival at Newark Airport I discovered that the Great Blizzard of '05 was nothing more than an inch or so of slippery slush: enough of a hazard to delay flights, but nothing so hazardous to human existence. What a disappointment! I was half looking forward to freezing to death on my way to the car.
